Owners

Deming Maclise and James Weimann love café culture. They shared a vision of creating a neighborhood hangout where people could gather to eat, drink, talk and enjoy life. Deming and James opened a hot new Mexican joint, Poquitos, in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood in 2011. 

Jason Stoneburner
Executive Chef

Jason brings years of experience and immense creativity to the table. Stoneburner began his culinary career in Colorado, as pastry chef at the famed Flagstaff House Restaurant and Chef de Cuisine under chef James Mazzio at 15°.  Jason honed his skills in Seattle under Ethan Stowell at Union and How to Cook a Wolf. He lives in Ballard with his lovely wife, Vanessanext

James Lechner
General Manager, Wine Director

James Lechner has been involved with restaurants for over 15 years, most recently as the Manager of Cafe Campagne. James has studied wine through the Court of Master Sommeliers and the International Sommelier Guild. He is currently preparing for the daunting Master Sommelier exam. James lives in Ballard with his two children, August and Charlotte, and his wife, Rebecca
